Crazy House!

Crazy things are happening at the Gedrasik house!! We are getting new hardwood floors and painting the upstairs!! I am so looking forward to having the floors done and being able to get things back to normal. Madison and I have been staying at my parents house since Saturday because its so dusty and very loud.

Madison's 1st birthday to coming very soon so we had one of her birthday parties on Monday. Andrew's parents hosted the "event" and she had so much fun! Of course she got spoiled and she had some cake for the 1st time. At first she was more interested in playing and sticking her fingers in it and than wiping her hands on mom!

Puppy Love

We also have a wonderful dog named Mya. She is a lab/collie and is 3 years old. I was a little nervous when I was expecting to see what she would be like with the baby but she is great.
She is so good with Madison, she lets her crawl all over her, pull at her fur and lets Madison give her loves. Since Madison starting to crawl she has been able to "chase" Mya down. Mya puts up with it and just gives her kisses.
Madison is even nice enough her share her food with her. I am so happy that Mya is so loving to Madison and Madison so loving to Mya. They are going to be life long friends.

Back to work.....

So this week I started back to work and survived! My 1st day back was interesting, I walked around for the 1st hour looking as if I didn't know what I was doing. It was like starting a new job but you knew who everyone was. By the end of my shift I was so tired and my legs were so sore I thought I was going to die. I was very happy to hear that Madison didn't have a nap and we enjoyed a nice one together! The rest of my week went very well. It is now tough to balance everything, working, spending time with Madison, spending time with family and trying to keep the house from falling apart. This week I have learned to let things go and whatever happens just happens! Madison seems to be a doing well, but I think she may be a little mad at me. Andrew and I enjoyed a nice date night last night. We went out for supper and went to see Iron Man 2. Which was very good! Andrew's parents took Madison for the night so we both got a good night sleep and I got to enjoy a good sleep in!! Other interesting notes of the week........ Not getting Madison dressed!! Since I leave for work early I don't really have the time to dress her. So during work when I am working very hard I look forward to coming home and seeing what outfit Daddy put her in! She is usually dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, but some days looks like a boy! They aren't the worst outfits but its not any combination that I would put her in! I have also been finding Madison sleeping in interesting positions, not sure how they are comfy!

First Time

So I have decided to start a blog after reading a few friends. Its a nice way to update people on what we are up to and how much Madison is changing and growing. It's crazy how fast time goes by, it just seems like we found out we were expecting. I can't believe how fast a year has gone and that in a few weeks we are going to be celebrating her 1st birthday. I had a great year off and wish that I could just stay home with her forever!

Madison is now crawling around the house and she is getting into everything. She just started to pull herself up and is standing whenever she can. Everyday she amazes me with how much she grows, what she learns and all the love she gives. She is the best thing and brings my life such joy.
